Its been a few days since my last post and a lot has happened. All is well now, but its been a wild few days. First, we were scheduled to bring Hollis home on Friday, but that morning Melissa began to experience some of the side effects of her anesthesia. The doctors instructed us to spend another night in the hospital and had Melissa stay flat on her back for 24 hours and drink lots of caffeinated beverages. On Saturday Melissa felt a bit better so we finally got to take Hollis home. Unfortunately, the 24 hour caffeine intake jolted both Melissa and Hollis awake for quite some time. So after many many sleepless hours for us all, we're finally back on track. Both Mommy and Hollis are now resting nicely (at least in between feedings).
